Managing Finances & Payouts

Learn where to find your payout schedule, balance, and history, how your Stripe payout account works, who pays processing fees, and where to review revenue and transactions in Reports.

Managing Finances & Payouts

Money you collect through Admittee — ticket sales, registrations, fundraising, rentals, and more — is processed by Stripe and paid out to your organization's bank account. Everything related to your payout account lives in one place: SettingsStripe and Billing.

The Stripe and Billing page has four tabs: Account, Payouts, Tax Documents, and Plan & Fees.

Your Stripe account

Open SettingsStripe and BillingAccount to manage the details of your Stripe account. Admittee partners with Stripe to provide secure payments processing and fast payouts.

To protect your bank and account details, this tab asks you to verify yourself before showing anything sensitive — click Sign in to see details to unlock the embedded account view.

If your organization hasn't been set up to accept payments yet, this tab explains that you'll first need to be verified as an authorized representative and submit compliance information to meet regulatory requirements. Use the Accept payments now link (or go to SettingsAccount activation) to start that process.

Viewing your payout schedule and history

Open SettingsStripe and BillingPayouts. This tab shows:

  • Total balance — the funds currently held in your account.
  • Next upcoming payout (estimated) — the amount expected in your next payout.
  • Scheduled for — the date of the next payout, with an Update link beside it.
  • A payout history list with each payout's Date, Status (for example, Paid), Destination (your bank account, shown with its last four digits), and Amount.

You can narrow the history with the Status, Amount, Method, and Date filters, and download it with the Export button.

Changing payout frequency

Click See details on the Payouts tab to adjust your payout frequency. The default setting is to have funds transferred to your bank account daily.

Payout notifications

To get an email each time a payout lands, open My profile from your avatar menu, go to Notifications, and turn on When a payout is paid.

Tax documents

Open SettingsStripe and BillingTax Documents to access tax and financial documents for reporting and compliance. Documents are listed with their Type, Name, and Created date as they become available, and you can download them from here. If nothing has been issued yet, you'll see No documents yet.

Who pays processing fees

Admittee fees cover everything including credit card processing, platform tools, and support — there are no extra accounts or hidden charges. You choose who covers the service fee:

  1. Go to SettingsPayments & defaults and find the Service fees defaults card.
  2. Use the Processing fee dropdown to pick one of three options:
    • Buyer chooses at checkout — buyers see a checkbox at checkout offering to add the fee amount to help your organization cover processing fees. This is the default.
    • Buyer always pays fees — the fee is always added on top of the buyer's total.
    • We absorb fees — your organization covers the fee out of the sale.

This default applies to all events unless overridden per event. The same card also has a toggle to Give buyers the option to round-up to the nearest dollar, which lets supporters round their purchase up as a small donation.

To see your plan and the full fee schedule for each sale type (tickets, passes, registrations, rentals, contracts, and fundraising), open SettingsStripe and BillingPlan & Fees.

Reviewing your revenue

For day-to-day financial reporting, open Reports in the left navigation. The Reports page has two tabs:

  • Trends — charts and totals for the selected date range, including Total revenue, Total hours, and Total events, a Top 5 events list, and a Revenue breakdown by revenue stream.
  • Transactions — a detailed table of individual transactions, including each transaction's Date, Payout date, Customer, and Title, so you can match individual sales to the payout they arrived in.

Use the date range picker at the top right to change the reporting period, and the Report button to download your data.
